Staying Home Poem

Staying home may not be fun

But at least you won’t be overrun

With people snatching TP by the ton!

At least at home we know what’s what

To take it easy and not slam the door shut.

We are used to wearing masks now

And hardly remember how

We got along without them on our faces

Whenever we go to different places.

Being home is not so bad

It’s a lot better than being mad

At where we are now—

But who actually knows anyhow?

But not to worry and not to fuss

As most others are doing the same as us—

Sooner or later, this too will pass

And we’ll have learned how to make things last

And remember how we got through it

And all we did to do it.
